1000 Books Before Kindergarten is an awesome program that challenges parents and caregivers to read 1000 books (yes, you can repeat books) to their child before he or she enters kindergarten. Doing so from birth will help the child develop critical literacy skills that prepare them to enter school and set the stage for success throughout life.

Please visit the library to sign your child up for the program.  Any child that has not entered kindergarten may enroll, regardless of age.  To keep track of the books read to your child there are apps for iPhone and Android, or you can download and print the pages below.  These pages will also be on the counter in Lincoln Library.  The library will provide a 3-ring binder for your sheets.
